Back again to bump this thread There is another way to use flash memory with burst that's called M.2 flash ram modules. They are commonly found on newer generation motherboards but are currently limited to about 3 onboard. So if the wallets deep they can be placed into USB stick drive enclosures. Also quite power consuming a powered external hub would definitely be needed to prevent the USB from overloading or ending its service life prematurely. But like SSD they really only useful for plotting.

from a variety of sources all future spectre/meltdown protected chipsets and cpu's will be 30% less efficient in operation. I have found a caveat for myself. Apples g3 and g4 cpu's do not run like the amd and intel cpu's do same as Sun Ultrasparc processors. Perhaps they should re introduce their processors instead of everyone sleeping with the same cpu pipeline.

@zapbuzz I'm sure it happened to others too (not sure if they noticed tho), but the main point is that the chain should correct itself, as soon as there are not enough nodes supporting the forked chain where your "stuck" transaction is... I think that if you go to your transactions page on the wallet, you may find a transaction with "/" confirmations somewhere (probably with a couple of days/weeks already)... Once that transaction gets dropped, it should not appear in that list anymore, and your balance should be correct, in theory... Please bear in mind that I'm not a coding expert, especially of the wallet core, so I may be wrong, but I've seen it happened a couple of times before (during the BN transactions spam forks this happened with quite some people, also 1 or 2 times before that)... At least now you know why... And a good advice is to always remember of looking to your wallet state before submitting a transaction to the network, in order to avoid stuck transactions due to forks...

@eagle275 It is a false positive has been like that since always, many miners give that warning. The new software does not affect you because they are written in another programming language.

I thought POC 1 was hacked so the Diff dropped but all those other factors play a part too. Curious what percentage was using the vulnerability of POC1. Guess we will see if the average Diff stays low for then next few weeks.

this happened to me many years ago and 2017 too just before a coin surge so their surges could be due to this crap robot mechanism? I could make a plethora of conspiracy theories about it. the prices plummeted so oh we won't go bankrupt American id only club. I told them the same line I did last time I was locked out. Now it won't let me login to even attempt a verify. I can only assume poloniex is having a network error. Simply put, if I wanted 25000 USD withdrawal capacity I would fucking apply for it.

something strange happened last night there was a wind storm and I googled some conspiracy theories and then the modem literally shut down. I software reset it came back on. I surfed some sights then I thought I go google conspiracy theories again. Modem shuts down. So I switched to the ol faithful connexion no probs since. Maybe its Halloween or maybe looking for conspiracy theories just made one?!? the stories are always better than the truth so i'll assume its an outage.
