RE: YASAsset
I think many would agree this year won't be remembered for being great. Cheers Lithstud for the update.

a tragic year 2018 now looking forward to 2020
late last year, october, me, my vehicle and my home was attacked by monsters. To this day I haven't been quite the same that I still have a lot of repairs to do on my vehicle and copeing with the anguish is quite a lengthy process.
However 2020 is around the corner and I am considering running a miner again.
If I had the money for a lawyer I would hand their asses to them in court. -
RE: SSD DISKS Beware of the AMPS!
Back again to bump this thread
There is another way to use flash memory with burst that's called M.2 flash ram modules. They are commonly found on newer generation motherboards but are currently limited to about 3 onboard. So if the wallets deep they can be placed into USB stick drive enclosures. Also quite power consuming a powered external hub would definitely be needed to prevent the USB from overloading or ending its service life prematurely. But like SSD they really only useful for plotting. -
RE: TurboPlotter Nominal Write speeds
hey let us know if it runs better on the paid version like as you would use it in free version. if you go pro

RE: TurboPlotter Nominal Write speeds
i gave up on SSD completely and I had to move my GPU on my motherboard to get half decent disk writes but if anything to note about Turboplotter the maximum efficiency of the free version (i don't have the paid one) is acheived with 1 plot disks. I have also found the larger the disk the faster it writes. However, in the back of my mind i am thinking there might be an undocumented free version limitation. Yes Turboplotter makes optimised plots. External disks can be slower than internals if you can plot to internal then move it to external it would be faster in your case. of ext Lacie.

RE: GPU plotter questions
i actually got it to work but it was slow at writing plots.

RE: GPU plotter questions
well, here i am trying again yay!
found this new or old POC 2 version cryo made.
It has a bug in direct plot generation that it only supports a linux EXT4 partiton for direct mode even in its windows port.
So, since i have an installed read\write partition driver for ext4 i have a new problem:here is the command i executed followed with its error message
C:\gpu>gpuplotgenerator generate direct E:\CRYO1\gpuplotgenerator generate direct F:\CRYO1\16884833744220149372_1111111111141632967_3576552_4096_2 ------------------------- GPU plot generator v4.2.2 ------------------------- Author: Cryo Bitcoin: 138gMBhCrNkbaiTCmUhP9HLU9xwn5QKZgD Burst: BURST-YA29-QCEW-QXC3-BKXDL ---- Loading platforms... [0] Device: Bonaire (OpenCL 1.2 AMD-APP (2906.8)) [0] Device memory: 512MB [0] CPU memory: 512MB Initializing generation contexts... [ERROR] Invalid file name C:\gpu>
So did i execute it incorrectly? because I don't wanna stuff around with an optimisation tool (if theres one)
