    @RichBC

A refugee from the Heat & Electricity costs of the Bitcoin Mines....

More a hardware than a Software Guy, so I love to dissect, modify and improve systems and design and build electronic add ons.

Projects have included Amateur Radio. Not active at the moment but operate and build for bands from 50Mhz to 24GHz. Digital Slot cars, reverse engineer and improve Powerbase and car electronics.

Now looking for opportunities in the Burst World.

@rds said in Which will produce more revenue??:

@gpedro . ok, right so now let's change it up. Rent is now $1/100TB. Which one now?

If this was a real as opposed to hypothetical opportunity I would take out multiple accounts of probably 50TB with a read time of 25 Seconds to allow them to be scanned simultaneously 🙂

    • RE: Advice on how to improve Deadlines

@sgabay242 OK here are my thoughts. 🙂

25 Seconds for 140TB is a very good time and there will be very little if anything to be gained by spending money reducing this, either in hardware or by Changing your Miner.

For comparison my system which currently has 75TB scans in 12 Seconds, also using jminer. Drives are 4 & 5 TB USB3 each with it's own full speed interface to the Bus.

I think the only variable you can play with, other than increasing your TB, that might improve your return is the Pool you are mining on.

Again for comparison looking at the last couple of Weeks (results are now worse than a month ago). I would say that on average on a Day when I do not hit a Block I will earn 80 Burst, was about 100 Burst. On top of that I have hit 8 Blocks in the last Month so an average of about 2 a Week, with an average reward of around 800 Burst, but vary's a lot.

All these figures very approximate. I have not added them up just looked at them and made an approximation.

If you want to to a more direct compare look at VAX9-BFZ6-XSX5-CW2EN in the Block Explorer and compare with your results. Your rewards should be about 2 times this.

I am on dobropool.com and have found it extremely reliable and would recommend giving it a go.
I think there is an improvement to be had on using a Pool with less Miners. poolofd32th.club has typically 150 Miners submitting 280 nonces, whereas dobropool only has 25 Miners submitting 35 nonces.

@sgabay242 How much on average are you earning / Day /Week?
How often do you mine a Block on Average?

    • RE: Harrygon’s assetmine asset

@harrygon Seeing you looking into your Tallon holding, how about an update on your Asset.

Summary of the current positions, plans and prospects for the future. Expected Dividend payments and frequency etc.

      Thanks

    • RE: [ANN] THE NEW Talon Power Asset

@harrygon Thanks for the info on the Swap. So are you holding Tallon Power in your Asset and plan on making the swap?

Have you sufficient information on the future plans for the Asset and the Coin to decide if this is a good move, or do you think there is no choice?

    • RE: [ANN] THE NEW Talon Power Asset

@haitch Thanks, that is what I have heard. Swapping a worthless Asset for a currently Worthless coin, spose that is a fair trade 🙂
Let me know if you get a reply, although we are both on the naughty list, so not holding my breath.
Perhaps one of the Guys I have tagged can post something, but I guess they need to be prompted to do that, so we will either get no answer or they all will answer. 🙂

BTW the Forum is still very difficult to use, had 3 goes at getting this posted.

So all very quiet since the payout. Has anyone got any news on what is happening?

    • RE: Bitconnect ( again )

      @rds in a word NO.

Slightly longer answer. Completely agree with @jaxblack and just sticking to this specific rather than the parallels.

Everyone knew that Bitconnect would come apart one Day the only issue was when. All of us would have lost money if it had gone down in the first 100 Days, we weighed up the data and chose to take the risk, as did everyone else be they winners or losers.

So I feel annoyance that it could not have kept going a bit longer, relief that my Asset shareholders did not lose money, a little sadness for those that lost, offended that you would call me a scammer but absolutely no remorse or desire to reimburse those that lost.

    • RE: Reverse loopback / Newbee Fund / Livecoin affiliate Asset Idea

@nixxda Just thinking about this I wonder if the thing to do is to not initially set up an Asset but to give it a go as an individual.

Put up a thread that describes what a noob miner wanting some Burst should do. Then everyone here stop giving them free Burst and direct them to the thread. perhaps have a word with haitch and see if there is anything he can do to help it along, perhaps a link from the Ads we have.

This will let you see how it goes without the expense etc of the Asset and also sort out the best way of doing it. If all goes well you will then have a base to get the Asset going?
