Which creepMiner version? I've heard 1.80 still has kinks to work out/may be slower. I'm thinking you could reduce read time by optimizing the number of reader and verifier threads. In the odroid I bet the bottleneck is memory, so maybe run without the desktop: drop to a tty (ctl-alt-F1) and login. Then
sudo systemctl stop lightdm.service -- that should free up a bunch of memory. Then install htop (cause nobody should have to try to get values from top) & check out how much memory you have free for maxBufferSizeMB. Set it as high as you can without having the Out Of Memory Killer killing creep. From there you can mess with reader and verifier (intensity).
