Explosive Asset!

  • @haitch Any news here ?

  • admin

@keyd0s No contact from Explosive - topic was moved to concerned assets.

  • @haitch I presume we will never hear from this asset or its issuer anymore. It was at the end an scam. By the way what's the ID verification for? It has passed 3 month and no news. Would you post publicly the issuer personal information or at least send him an email telling his information will be posted publicly here?

  • admin

@vexact It's looking that way - I've emailed him again, if I don't hear back in a week I'll dox him. Remind me next Friday.

  • admin

@haitch I've heard back from Explosive. Due to personal reasons I'm not going into unless he wants me to, he's closing down the asset. There will be a final payout, but the timeframe is currently unknown.

  • @haitch then how long will we allow for that timeframe to be?

  • admin

@vexact Given the circumstances, I'm going to give him as long as he needs, but will keep in touch with him.

What about this asset? How long is as long as he needs?

  • @vexact forever to be exact. and maybe no payout 😞

  • admin

@hidevin @vExact I've emailed him to see how things are going. As I said earlier, I'm not going to disclose the issues he's having at the moment, but will be staying in contact with him.

From one of the emails I got from him, with some personal info edited out: " Paying out a final payment has always been my plan once everything is complete. I will keep in contact with you through email if you would like until the process is done. You were always a straight up guy and I'm sorry it didn't work out with the asset"

  • admin

@haitch Got an email from @explosive that he may be in the position to do a final payout soon. Something is being setup next week, and if it works out, he'll be doing the final payout.

  • admin

@haitch I've been in touch with @explosive and there will be a final payout coming out this week.

This was an asset I had a lot of faith in and expected it to do well. Unfortunately it didn't. As I said I'm not going to go into the reasons for it's failure, or @explosive s' situation - but I suspect there was some external fuckery behind it, and that had significant consequences for both the asset and @explosive personally.

I've been working with @explosive, and am sending out this payment on his behalf. It's quite probably the last payout from the asset, please don't trade any of the assets you may hold, and if you have sell orders up, please take them down.

As I'm sending it, the payment will be coming from my BURST-HRE6-EJVS-75KV-GFD3K address, not the usual account for this asset.

  • @haitch thanks for the payment, I just saw this reply. So what should we do with all the shares from the asset?

  • admin

@vexact Hold them - there is always the possibility that there will be future payments, although I consider it probably unlikely.

  • @haitch it would be more elegant and indeed fair if a buyback is made, at least at half of the price in USD the asset was originally issued. At the time of the issuing Burst was more or less around 0.008 USD and shares were sold at 400 B and then 500 B. That makes shares initially sold around 3.2 -- 4 USD. So that a buyback around 1.6 -- 2 USD per share now would be acceptable, making it at ~ 60 -- 70 Burst. Also the payout for all these months of absence seem to be pretty small.

  • admin

@vexact A buyback would have been the best way - but in this case keeping the holdings open for other potential payouts make sense. A fair/reasonable buyback wouldn't have been possible, funds that are available are used as dividends. If the available funds had been used for the buyback, the buyback would eliminate any future potential additional payments.

It's not my place to say what happened behind the scenes with the asset, but what should have been a productive asset was effectively sabotaged and all us investors have suffered as a result. The worst injured is Explosive himself, and I can assure you he is doing his damndest on behalf of his investors.
