@RichBC i mentioned it here
i was looking at the daily rate i got with POLO and Freebit at 1st i thought it was slight different then looked closer.
but my main reason for the hassle was at the time i thought they were VERY close in rates. and i also did not want loans out come Sunday night etc.
@hidevin @vExact I've emailed him to see how things are going. As I said earlier, I'm not going to disclose the issues he's having at the moment, but will be staying in contact with him.
From one of the emails I got from him, with some personal info edited out: " Paying out a final payment has always been my plan once everything is complete. I will keep in contact with you through email if you would like until the process is done. You were always a straight up guy and I'm sorry it didn't work out with the asset"
These are assets the comunity has concerns about. NOT necessarily scams, but eg: Owner is MIA, dividends have dropped/stopped.
I used to have this asset, but sold out a while back, way before the payouts were put on hold (needed the BURST asap for another project I was doing). CCminer Google group appears to have disappeared at present, and I think last response was about the 13th Feb (about a month ago) as @Jaxblack mentioned, after several promises of restarting mining, and delays. Time will tell if the asset will come back to life, or if it is dead in the water
@illuminatus Interesting analysis, I ran into that as well with Micah (Adsactly) in regard to the company form...real quick to say they are not a formal "not-for-profit" as they would then need to have a company registration number, which of course he does not have. I am sure he will try to explain that the employee count is the number of members supposedly active in Adsactly, though that all falls apart pretty quickly as well when you scratch the surface a little deeper.
To find out what they are doing I believe we just need to look at what he was doing in 2013 already...basic MLM in the end with questionable legality.
This is a great idea, actually it is long overdue.
You are right if the porn industry adopts crypto, than the main stream will follow,
Please keep us posted on all the new up-dates. I would love to have some of those assets. Can't wait to hear more about it.
Hey all, me again, with once again some strange payment system failure... I'm getting really quite annoyed with the damn wallet.
I am going to install a node on my linux laptop, with hope that I can get to things within the older payout system
@Yey_09 Asset issuer left this forum long time ago. You have to swap your shares for Flex assets. To do this message him on burstnation.com
@haitch Could you move focus assets to closed section as well?
@falconCoin I just don't want to be involved in any part of the drama which was on burstnation and here. So I have deleted my post. Honestly I do not want to pick any side, I just wish there is no harm either to BURST coin or any other coin, From the time I was interested in BURST there were only issues emerging with dramas etc. :(
@haitch said in Has anyone else assets stopped Monthly payouts?:
@Diesel1022 Bursteam should have been converted to Burstity (?) Message @crowetic about the conversion. Qora was a joke asset created by someone, I never expected to see it payout. Vector needed to be converted to VectorandMargin, message @FrilledShark about converting them.
correct, aside from the asset name BURSity, heh. Diversity, BURSity. ;)
But that's correct, BURSTeam assets will be swapped at a 1:1 ratio for BURSity.
Simply send your BURSTeam assets to alias 'bursity' (and please only send whole numbers, if you send decimals the auto-swap won't work correctly due to my mis-setup on BURSity launch.
If you DO have decimals to swap, you can message me about that and I'll handle it by sending you a rounded up amount, but only send the full round number to the swap account. Thanks!
this type of burning assets will overall help the asset grow , as it will provide liquidity to the asset in the AE and allow weak hands an out wile at the same time providing a Boost to Div payout amount to the remaining asset holders, in most cases there will reach a critical mass point in witch people will start to buy new shares because the payouts are so good , and allow the asset owner to expand agin ontell the shares sold dilute the supply and new sales fall off .... its just an interesting cycle that can be used to grow an asset witch also benifits long term holders of the asset.
my asset has this built right into the way it functions , i offer 50% escrow that is used to place a buy wall at 50% issue price direct in the AE. it will naturaly cause this cycle to happen with my asset and yes i "burn" those shares as well..... my issue price is 10 burst , the built in buy wall is 5 burst and that leaves anything bettwen on the AE for me to use my personal wallet to buy up and hold :)
Tuesday June 6th,
MicroBURST made its first payout today.
Payout came in at 9.148 BURST per 1000 shares. This is just the beginning. I was thinking it was going to come in around 3 per 1k.
And I'll be honest, none of the new equipment is contributing to that payout yet. None of the drives have been fully plotted yet. The new video card has been mining, but has not received a payout since going into service yet.
This can only get better. Folks keep telling me I'm doing a wonderful job of managing and keeping you all informed. I fell I haven't really even started being on top of everything. I can do better. Health issues are slowing me down about 10%. The heat in here another 10%. If you all think I'm doing good at this point. Imagine what things will be like when I have AC to keep this brain running in top condition. :)
I am eating better, I'll start walking this week. You believe in me, and have entrusted me with your resources (money). the least I can do is make myself healthier and stronger so that I can be better able to manage those resources, and hopefully bring all my plans to fruition. I really, really cound not have done any of this without you wonderful people.
I will be releasing the second batch in a few minutes.

Yes, sorry, it was gone so fast, my head spun. << >> << >> Next batch though, I won't make make the same mistake in underestimating myself.
But I will warn you it might be a while, as its taking FedEx to long to make it feel like Christmas. It might be 2 weeks before the next batch goes up.
Thank you fine folks for making dreams come true. I will post much over the coming days.
Just an FYI, the batches are reached once milestones are reached, and I probably released the second batch to soon, I won;t make that mistake for batch #3 either. My milestone for batch #3 is to have all hardware in place and mining before its released.

Update for Thursday, June 8th. The power supply has finally arrived!!! Yay! \o/
Had a day where the BURST miner's were down. The GPU rig was also down a day. Everything is fully operational right now, except the second BURST miner. Its only 1.4TB. It's a very finicky system. It will be replaced, and likely get recycled. Its the oldest, machine in the mining operations, its served me well for a decade in other capacities. But its time has come to go to the great matrix in the sky. The power supply though, Just made my week. Construction of the new official Main BURST miner will commence soon, and will hopefully be mining sometime before the end of this weekend. With the PS came 12 more TB. It will be awesome to see that case loaded with hard drives. Got the 4 port PCIe Sata controller. SO will be running 10 internal sata drives.
Plotting is going slowly. I tried running the GPU plotter, had everything set as best I could, but its still to buggy for my liking. Started looking for a dual Xeon server system on eBay, I've got it pretty narrowed down as to what I am looking for. Maybe in a week, I'll have an uber plotter in house. I've pretty much got my next parts list put together. And as soon as BTC comes back up, I'll cash out and place orders. Still have 2 more orders in transit from the first batch of the asset. Mostly small things.
Also, MicroBURST is now backed by 10 troy ounces of .999 pure Silver. I will have pics when it arrives. As well as pics of the monster case, and the drives, and the eSATA hub.
Oh, the motherboard and CPU for the new rig was something I already have here, an MSI 970 chipset motherboard with an AMD FX-4170 CPU. Just needed memory and a power supply. So now all set to build that Miner, It should total out at 40.8TB of BURST mining goodness. I do not have the figures for the current BURST miner, but it should be sufficient to take MicroBURST solo. That is also on the 'ToDO' list for this weekend.
I know I've been amiss the last couple days. Still not feeling super well. But that should improve as my wife and I are now committed to improving our health. Nope, haven't taken a walk this week yet. Maybe if its cool enough this weekend.
Thanks you all. Oh, I am also working on making a Discord channel to collaborate and have open dialog with other liberty/anarchy minded folks. Updates later.
p.s. Has anyone seen my signature? It seems to be missing.
I've talked to some members of the community, and what I saw is this: The community is scared to invest in assets now. Sadly, cause the AE is one of the best things for me.
Some people don't want to invest in an asset the is backed by real items and FIAT, I can understand. So unfortunately, looks like the asset will not be released.
But I'm offering the opportunity for private investors. I do this stuff by myself some years now. In the last year some friends came as investors, so my hobby has grown a little. If someone is interested, come and we can chat privately. If you don't trust, no problems, we can still be friends in this forum and community. All the best for everyone.
I will like to make a humble apology to all the members I pissed off on the forum and the administrators of this forum for the manner / tone in which I addressed some of the scrutiny and questions that were brought forward.
@Gibsalot said in <PREANN> Gib's mining farm:
@manfromafar still in debate staging right now seeking input from the community on all aspects of the proposed asset. for now im liking and going to go with the buyback orders the way i stated above .. however if what you have stated does happen and the price per share climbs and stays up , then the escrow funds will still be there and we can always take a community vote later as to how to best use them.
(^.^)-b Yup nothing is set is stone yet
A lot of people are not experienced with assets that lots of them buy up and sell for much less than they paid the issuer in fear of disaster; called undercutting. Assets are a great compliment to mining and some pay weekly or even daily so if the miner goes offline the day isn't a complete loss. Its important to not undercut in fear of total loss because that's a reason for asset value declines and sometimes its because assets can be part of portfolios linked to other portfolios assets. A domino effect can occur. There are verified issuers to choose from, and non verified ones that have stood the test of time. Governments have liquidated their assets in the past in financial fear and suffered massive losses as result of limited foresight in human history. My underlining point of this post is to reinforce to persons not to be fearful and the burst system will remain stronger. From what I can gather some of these investors don't realize what these kinds of investments really involve and should watch until the excitement phase wears off and make wiser financial decisions based on researching current successful and failed assets.
Looks like your connection to Burst - Efficient HDD Mining was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
