@RichBC i mentioned it here
i was looking at the daily rate i got with POLO and Freebit at 1st i thought it was slight different then looked closer.
but my main reason for the hassle was at the time i thought they were VERY close in rates. and i also did not want loans out come Sunday night etc.
@hidevin @vExact I've emailed him to see how things are going. As I said earlier, I'm not going to disclose the issues he's having at the moment, but will be staying in contact with him.
From one of the emails I got from him, with some personal info edited out: " Paying out a final payment has always been my plan once everything is complete. I will keep in contact with you through email if you would like until the process is done. You were always a straight up guy and I'm sorry it didn't work out with the asset"
These are assets the comunity has concerns about. NOT necessarily scams, but eg: Owner is MIA, dividends have dropped/stopped.
I used to have this asset, but sold out a while back, way before the payouts were put on hold (needed the BURST asap for another project I was doing). CCminer Google group appears to have disappeared at present, and I think last response was about the 13th Feb (about a month ago) as @Jaxblack mentioned, after several promises of restarting mining, and delays. Time will tell if the asset will come back to life, or if it is dead in the water
@JotaJota said in new to asset:
I have more than 10 at my portfolio.
A healthy and diverse portfolio should be your goal @jacobus1980. I also look to see which ones are active on the forum and who is the most helpful.
OK, to all investors, I have decided to put this Asset on the backburner for the time being. No need to have a competing asset to burstMC
Almost all shares have been bought back, these are the outstanding ones so please contact me to be refunded or transfered the equivalent in burstMC:

@socalguy Yes you get it right?!?!?! Thanks for explaining in a much more easy and apelative way xP
When i asked you to put your feedback in here i was thinking you were just answer my questions as you answer me by PM hahaha
I'll PM you right now kind sir xDD
I think your consensus based approach would be best. Also listing any trust related stats (member since, posts, reputation etc...) of the asset issuer would go a long way to help weed out the scammers. Its a complex issue to be sure, you could also confer with a white hat that you trust to see if they can find any issues in whatever solution you decide on.
Actually, I may start it with a lot more shares this time. Instead of 1 million, maybe 5 or 10 million. The 100k per month would still be added when the initial shares would sell out, to help keep share price(s) low and affordable for everyone.
@Alongzz The wallet software, or the blockchain itself? Wallet should be fast - blockchain can take 6-8 hours if doing from scratch. You can get a headstart by downloading db.burst-team.us and extracting it into your burst_db directory.
There's another idea I'm working on...
Totally Automated Asset - or TAA - will be based on Smart Contracts on BURST, and will be capable of running your asset payouts, in a fully automated fashion!
The only thing, is that if your asset relies upon mining, those operations would still need to be managed, which is always good to have a partner for these things and this reason.
I've got multiple people who work with me both in the fore and background, if anything were to happen to me, one of them would take over the asset distribution and mining management.
Of course, I don't want to think of these types of things, but it is always good to have a failsafe backup plan, as I recently found I should have done with my phone... which was destroyed, and thus locked me out of my polo and coinbase accounts... very unfortunately...
I'm in the process of getting them back, but yea... that one hurt a bit.
Anyway, I'll give more info soon on my TAA idea. Thanks!
