tbh I would side with @Marc too, try starting with around 16-??? tb, if you want to make a McChicken every week.
Though 32tb for me gives me 200 BURST a week so (200/7) / 32 = 0.89 BURST a day for each TB.
If you are into small earning then go ahead, I won't stop you, but just recommended by me and Marc :)
To break electricity bills, you would need 3 tb at the minimum, or to make around 3 cents per day because HDD doesn't use that much power.
@taylor change OS time to auto and timezone to auto. Stop the wallet and then start it again. If that does not work download the db from here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fnd6mple1t91gne/AADI2PmQrPbPJbtBVMc5oN8sa?dl=0
That blockchain is only a few days old so you don't have to wait to sync too long.
Note: I had the same problem. Also, I'm using qbundle 1.9 because the update messed my wallet up before. I don't recommend the new update yet. It has bugs.
@haitch Funny you should ask. So a lot of the language used with computers is somewhat lost on me (I come from a horticultural background). I am having trouble getting mining and I am sure it is because I have missed something. I tried following the "burstcoin in 11 minutes" and I still can't get it. So if there is a dumbed down version someone could walk me through, that would be awesome.
I have the wallet setup, I am just guessing I did it right. I plotted 929 gig and then...nothing, I am stuck. If I could get someone to help e out I would love to pick up a few seabreeze drives and invest in the system so to speak.
@xpeed That is because you are trying to sync the blockchain with GPU acelleration (Quicksync feature), to pool mine you don't need a synced wallet so you can always go to qBundle and in the File menu, choose Launcher mode instead of wallet mode, then to login to your account choose one of the online wallets in the using wallet field... If you want to solomine you will need a local wallet running but eitherway it will only stop your ETH rig during the sync process wich can take several hours... You can also import db from repository and will speed things up ;D
