@luxe, thank you for responding. Yes, I did have the "\burst" in the URL, but the connection failed. When I removed it, it appeared to succeed. But the bad rabbit actually created an empty burst_db database in the burstcoin_1.2.8 folder and connected to this.
What I discovered after replacing the "\burst" to the URL is that I can connect only if the wallet server is not running. Not sure why yet. Perhaps it is because I am accessing the database locally instead of over Ethernet. I'll do more experimenting.
Thanks again for your help!
@norefer187 said in php address validator:
have any validator address for php?
Can you expand upon this? What do you mean by address validation? You want a PHP page that takes an address and checks if it has been used? Has coins? Have a public key? I believe the answer to your question is yes, should be easy to do.
netDiff = (Burst block #0 BaseTarget) / baseTarget
Burst block #0 BaseTarget = 18325193796
so, netDiff = 18325193796 / baseTarget
BaseTarget is passed from the getMininginfo call to keep block times at 4min.

Like the idea. However, wouldn't that be a wasted resource? I mean windows, eh. Just me though. Back almost 20 years ago, there was this program litestep, changes windows kernel.
You could take the open source code from them, and create a dev wet dream.
Basically using that code you'd be looking at changing the windows environment. Which in its own way can be useful.
I like the vision though, hopefully you're still chasing it.
Where I said kernel replace that with shell, believe that I recalled incorrectly.
I think me and @Lexicon talked about this before. It will probably take too long to find miners.. and a block would take too long to be mined to figure out what exactly is happening in the code.
@luxe the at debugger works funny. some stuffs works differently as compared to live systems especially. The 2 major ones that i know of are timestamps and tx_to _a.. which is a big issue in development.
@gmg3327 I've started testing various stuffs on my github. feel free to contribute. https://github.com/antonyip/BurstAT
As far as I know the database file for downloading is updated 1 time in a 24 hour. Just it would be nice if whoever is updating this file, also uploaded it on torrent. This would speed up file download and free it from dependence on DDos attacks.
