@moverspool i got that, but 20 is for me 175b not 43 that showde up in my wallet,,talking about downgrade on blocks,,before i got around 1,200.B - 1.800B,and ofc it was like 1 ½ years ago,,,and someone was talking about Moverspool,,sounds nice,,so i will try that one
@zac123 yes, I run many 5200rpm disks I use jminer to mine them in general until I need gpu for multimedia and switch to Blago n such cases, but more simultaneous disks that I have a 4 core cpu and I do have an i7 but I got to get off my butt to solder a new bios chip on a motherboard. I have 70tb of 5200rpm disks they read in 33 seconds on AMD R7 360 GPU. everything I use is AMD at the moment processor wise I like their energy efficiency than the power hungry intel. (a bit slower but I can live with it)
@zac123 said in CPUs - which one?:
yes it does support intel i7 and I recommend that than another motherboard / gpu to be savvy and they're much cheaper on ebay
gigabyte last forever b250
if you get the 7th generation core I7 your memory can run in XMP mode which makes both mining and plotting more efficient plus everything else really gets responsive.
@zac123 Please follow the link given above and read.
Makes no sense to duplicate large, dull tables here.
The takeaway is: Miners are rewarded with transaction fees plus the diminishing reward, which will be at 10 Burst around Oct'2025.
I remember there is flash memory tools that allow windows xp install to be bootable and some actually can identify fakes and correct their reported space so one can still use the scummy things. (((this one is by far the best and complete coverage))) can correct the fake amount back to the correct one.
@benignrabbit485 , if you have downloaded the latest qbundle wallet for windows, you will need to perform the updates to it before you do anything else. It should automatically tell you at the top of the window that there are updates, and if you click this, it will ask if you want to update (you may have already done this though). If it is unable to do the updates, close the wallet, and go to the install directory and look for the file called UPDATER and double click it.
You may need to set it to use MariaDB as your database of choice, and it may require you to download and install the relevant dbfiles (it will do this for you though). This is done from the the DATABASE option at the top of the window, followed by CHANGE DATABASE.
The qbundle wallet has the relevant tools built in for mining and plotting under the TOOLS menu. You can plot right away once you have your numeric account ID, and you can mine from a pool as as soon as you are able to set the reward recipient. Mining solo will require the download of the entire blockchain.
If you have your old passphrase, you can log in with it from the main screen on the qbundle wallet (which will look similar to the old black screen you remember), but it may take a while for the wallet to start itself (it tells you at the bottom left of the qbundle window what the wallet is up to, e.g. stopped, starting, started etc and what block height it is at with the block timestamp) and then to download the BlockChain.
Hope this has helped and at least answers some of your questions:)
@zac123 said in GPU mining + Qbundle on same pc:
anyone got any reservations about running burst miner at the same time as, say.... nicehash?
I run Foldngcoin miner and Burst on one machine, I run ETN miner and Burst on a second and I run a dual ETH/PASC miner and burst on the 3rd. The only time it is a problem is when plotting drives. If you use qbundle and use dynamic plotting, for instance, it will tax your CPU thus slowing the miners a bit. Static plots do not have much effect on CPU that I can tell. I have at times ran 4 miners with burst being one of them but that is when I ran into issues... lol... Anyway, hope this helps.
since 2012 I'm in the cryptocoins, every summer and Christmas the values of the coins fall, to this we must add that after the big rise, the price of bitcoin is still being settled, in addition to the last month two Korean exchanges have been hacked into one of them is talking about 40 million dollars .......................... are many factors that they influence the price
@gibsalot Every one creating a block can decide witch transactions get included ... or if none gets included ... so i can not tell you about blocks with 0 transactions. But there is only 1 transaction per block for 0.00735, the next one is 0.0147 etc. so using e.g. 0.05145 (for 7th slot) should speed up your transaction ... but sure you can use 1 BURST as always and you are fine. Currently the main benefit is, that we can afford faucets again, to get new users started etc.
