I Think there are some points which are relevant
do you Pay electricity? how much?
do you have drives which are already payed Off?
do you get the drives for a dime?
In Germany with costs of 0.31 $/kWh and 8 tb drives at 200$ for ugly SMR drives, you may overthink that Investment.

... Coin that can be mined with hard drives, letting anyone mine.
As of this date, about 87% of all Burst-Coins have already been mined (PoC). Which may explain why the Difficulty, although up, has not increased in-line with recent exchange valuations. Perhaps investors are wary of the short return window?
Also, the Transactions per Day (& Sent/Day) has varied little over the last two years, and much of that seems to be recurring distribution by Mining Pools. Likewise, the majority of active Assets appear to be focused on Mining.
So, what happens when the music stops? Official Burst-Coin Roadmap. Hummm...
I would say the idea is to accumulate more BURST by trading.
Oh shit! There go my thoughts of getting one of those Debit Cards!-/
Paypal, wherever you use it as gataway, is just no good because they clearly state that they don't want Bitcoin to be traded to their platform. And therefor offer no protection at all to sellers.
I guess for me its bity.com only from now on. ..sigh...
@rattle99 said in Burstcoin is now in TOP 100 on coinmarketcap!!!:
Must have gone even higher now.
Currently ranking #143 on CoinMarketCap, but fluctuating a lot. Also, good to see Burst return to the ~10c area.
Kucoin is fairly new, but has some interesting coins as well as good programs for it's users. They got a coin which pays 'dividend' of all fees done on the exchange every day. very interesting, definitely worth a look.
Recently started using it as well :)

If you can get the portfolio up a bit higher I like to work on increasing cash flow rather than trade profits.
When I was just started out every penny I earned went towards increasing the amount of BTC I earned every week.
While it will definitely start out slow - ( a few cents a day )... the beauties of compound interest you should be able to bump that up to a few dollars a day within a year or so. At that point you can start making more/bigger trades.
Income streams could include things such as burstcoin assets, bitconnect, cloud mining, (your own mining rig?) and anything else that can earn you a few extra sats a day.
Just my personal experience :)
Thanks a lot!
It's just that this is a kind of challenge for me and I have to only trade.
@theduuude I find it ...interesting....
right now, it would be hard to get out of a big position without moving the price a lot down.
perhaps the lower volue and price is related to crowetic leaving, perhaps not many ppl want to buy in expensively in case some burst is planned to be sold in relation to winding down stuff.
i, for one, don't have any limit orders in, i'm in a wait and see mode, i don't want to risk being a bagholder in the short term. i don't want to be run over by selling pressure from people leaving burst.
if this is a shortterm blip (and i think it is) great trading opportunities are building up.
As I reemember it, before bitsler was announced, we came from 600+, turned around in the 380s before shooting for 800. ( these numbers are from memory, so i could be off 100 or more)
